THE TOP GATE SO PURE
The top gate, so pure, so white… wide open: the base gate, so innocent, so pink, wide open. They meet in the middle, in the spacious heart as it tenderly opens: wider, and wider… opens.

THE PURE MILK OF MY BODY
The pure milk of my body,
the pure silk of a woman’s body,
open, empty, ecstasy rising in the belly:
these are gifts of God.

DRINKING SKY
Drawing sky into my chest, following it deeper… what do I sense? Openness, nothingness, freshness. That’s all. That’s more than enough.

THIS IS THE GOAL OF OUR SPIRITUAL LIFE
This is the goal of our spiritual life: to be wide open in Love to Pure Being; to live in a wise, spontaneous innocence of Being; to know the freedom of pure Love as creative flow inspiring us to inspire others and bring more Presence and Love, more healing truth and beauty into the world.

AN INTIMATE OPENING
This instinct to open wide drops long held defenses, melts down traumatic blockages and crumbles pain built walls until our naked, defenseless, wide open and sensitive being shines. This is why our complete surrender must be intimate in the deepest sense of that word. This is why it must be confidential; a sequestered, beautiful secret; an opening only for the eyes of the beloved, the luminous eyes of God.

COUNTLESS WAYS HOME
There are many ways to open, countless ways to surrender; but one of the deepest, most direct ways is ecstasy without attachment: purging our being from the clinging, insecure nature that would use it to create addictions; freeing us from our long held, fundamental grief that was born when we first closed the doors of our innocent being to the unfolding miracle of the moment of Life.

TO BE FREE
To be free we must be willing to both take full responsibility for our lives and to completely lose control.

SPIRITUAL TEACHERS
For me, a true spiritual teacher must be innocent, without guile or personal ambitions. That is why most of my teachers are under ten years old. They are either children, or birds, or dogs.

THE FINAL GUARDIANS
Fear believes in its separation from God. It generates grief, guilt, shame, selfishness and all the rest. God believes in the freedom of God and that all is God. We are all in God and God is in us. From God’s perspective we are God, with many faces, having a wild adventure.

OPEN OR CLOSE
There is the tender reaching out in receptive openness, and the sting, the pain, the traumatic shock, the tight fist, the withdrawal. All life comes down to these two dynamics. One we call Love, the other fear. One we call joy, the other grief. One is a free functioning of life loving Life through us. Another we label with a countless labels and treat with a thousand therapeutic models, diagnosis and drugs. But it all comes down to this, we relax and open; we react, tighten up, draw back and unconsciously grieve our loss of openness and freedom.

TOTALLY PRESENT

The thing is to be so totally present in your own body that you can fall back through it into Light and in that freedom pour Love as harmony back out in pure goodness to everyone you meet.

GOD IS RELAXED AND NATURAL
The Source of everything is relaxed and natural, like a fearless child who is full of wonder and curiosity. When we see everything with new, innocent eyes, Life suddenly becomes even more astonishingly beautiful.

WHEN GOD SPEAKS AT ONCE

When God at last
speaks through us all
at once,
it will simply be
side-splitting,
pure Laughter.

Here are a few: Love, joy, peace, thankfulness, awe, beauty, clarity, confidence, creativity, courage, ecstasy, freedom, freshness, healing, honesty, humor, innocence, joy, laughter, lightness, naturalness, openness, peace, playfulness, simplicity, tenderness, tranquility, whimsy, wonder… how many can you think of, there are so many more.

WITHOUT FORGIVENESS
Without forgiveness we load the donkey cart until it breaks and the donkey dies. When we are all inhale, and no exhale, toxins poison our blood. When the warehouse is all boarded up, everything gets musty from lack of air. The body that cannot eliminate will not live long.

I LOVE SEXUAL ENERGY
I love sexual energy as a teacher of surrender and trust. I love the purity of its silver, pink flow. I love its tenderness and how it teaches total tenderness of being. I love it as it interblends with the pure breath of Spirit, with the Light of God in the body opening to all Creation. This is the Beautiful Gate, the Pure Gate back home.

THE BEAUTIFUL GATE
There can be no shadows in the beautiful way, not even the smallest dark smudge of guilt or shame. The beautiful gate is utterly pure.

TO UNITE THE OPPOSITES
To unite the opposites (male/female) is the door to union, to the Tree of Life.
This is the brave step beyond duality at last, into freedom… into God. It is powerful to do this within yourself, more powerful to do it with the other you love.

THE ASTONISHING THING
The astonishing thing is that this instinct to surrender open is built into every cell of our body. It is the deepest instinct of our sexual, ecstatic nature. This pleasure in completely yielding and blooming opening in unconditional trust is beautiful, absolutely beautiful because it is a full release unto that which is utterly pure and real — this innocence of being.

JESUS DIDN’T TRY TO CHANGE THE WORLD
Jesus didn’t try to change the world. This is impossible. He must have known that! He only resonated with the highest truth, with pure love, innocence, and wide open freedom. This is enough.

BEING WIDE OPEN AND FREE
To be wide open and free in Love is enough: all good flows spontaneously from this.

I SAY YES
I say yes to the beautiful energy, to the ecstatic energy. I say yes to the innocent energy and pass freely through it into God.

HOW MUCH LOVE AND ECSTASY?
How much Love and ecstasy can my brain cells say yes to? As a river flows around a block of ice, flow around resistance and melt it with Love.

GOD IS, I AM
God is Purest Light shining… in me. I am Pure Light… in God.
God is Purest Love… in me. I am Pure Love happening… in God.
God is Purest Freedom happening… I am Pure Freedom laughing… in God.

YOU CAN RIDE
You can ride the open surrender of the sexual nature, into the open surrender of opposing natures, into the unity of Pure Source. This is the highest spiritual purpose of sexual energy.

GOD BEYOND GOD
Energy comes and goes. Experience comes and goes. But God is forever. The Naked Nothing of the full emptiness of Being. And beyond this? Wonder. God beyond concepts of God; God as infinite beauty happening beyond time and space. And beyond God happening… more Naked Nothing in limitless freedom… of course!

GOD’S FREEDOM
Nothing we do can change God’s freedom to be Who God is:
limitless Love, without conditions, purely loving.

AS RUMI SAID
As Rumi said, “there are a thousand ways to bow down and kiss the ground.” In the way of life there are countless ways to open the heart, to face our resistance, to surrender into God’s presence. There are ways of compassion, ways of kindness, ways of pain, ways of grief, ways of laughter, ways of celebration, ways of dying, ways of war, ways of harmony, ways of peace, ways of creativity, ways of science, ways of politics, ways of service, ways of ritual, ways of cooking, ways of walking, ways of working, ways of sex, ways of celibacy, ways of contemplation, ways of action… countless ways into the essence of Life.

The beautiful energy is pure and free.
Breathe it in. Flowing smoothly down, through the face,
flowing down, light and free,
freely flowing through throat, flowing through the heart,
down, flowing down through ribs, down,
into the belly, smoothly through the belly,
down into the tender loins, gently opening the loins,
flowing down legs, down, slowly down, freely flowing
out the feet and hands
into the earth: deep down into its fiery heart.
Now flowing back up, up, up from the earth,
through feet and legs, up, up, rising up
through the tender loins, opening the loins.
Then up, rising through the belly,
up through the ribs, up to the heart, wide open,
up through the throat, up to the face:
opening eyes and ears; opening the mind: light and free.
Now up through the top of the head.
Up into the sky.
Higher, higher, into the high sky,
into the living heavens:
higher, into Light; into Love.
Open wide, wider, light and free.
Open, open, innocent and free. Wide open.
